It was Book Club this week we discussed Madame Bovary a real mix of opinions. We also drew up our programme for 2012-13 including a poetry evening with my brother Mike performing\u00a0in the pub! My suggestion of the Song of Achilles might have to wait for next year.<\/p>\n

Great day watching the Tour in Caerphilly on the mountain. Great crowd great views and I took some decent photos we\u00a0were so close to the riders I\u00a0could have touched them! Met Mike and Carla afterwards.<\/p>\n

Enjoying watching BBC 4 at the moment with a programme dedicated to\u00a0Fairport Convention. it takes me back to my formative years at Hitchin\u00a0Folk Club where the resident group always finished with Meet on the Ledge. “Where does the time go” with the wonderful magical voice of Sandy Denny\u00a0is in my top 5 of all time songs.<\/p>\n
