Good to see so many people making the most of it. Our super village is a magnet for visitors on these lock down days. Clare and I made the most of it by going for a lovely morning cycle ride.<\/p>\n<p>I have just finished <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Philip Pullman&#8217;s The Secret Commonwealth<\/strong> <\/span>and I did get thoroughly immersed in the book I was disappointed the story was left hanging in the air so will need to get the third book in the trilogy (the first book was a more stand alone story). My current reading is completely different <span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\"><strong>A Cheesemonger&#8217;s History of the British Isles<\/strong> <\/span>those of you who know me know how much I love my cheese!<\/p>\n<p>Yesterday&#8217;s Answers on <em><strong>Bullies<\/strong> <\/em>(No Quiz questions on a Sunday!)<\/p>\n<p>a) <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>Harry Flashman<\/strong> <\/span>from Tom Brown&#8217;s Schooldays b) <strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Cruella de Vil<\/span> <\/strong>wants Dalmatian skins\u00a0 c) <span style=\"color: #993366;\"><strong>The Ugly Sisters<\/strong> <\/span>(a part I have played in panto only one of them!) who gave Cinderella a hard time d) <span style=\"color: #99cc00;\"><strong>Professor Moriarty<\/strong> <\/span>is Sherlock&#8217;s enemy\u00a0 e) <strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">Draco Malfoy<\/span> <\/strong>picks on Harry Potter<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>One of those precious weekend November days today!
