Female <strong><span style=\"color: #008000;\">Blackcap<\/span> <\/strong>was the first bird I saw in the bushes close to our front feeders. As I peer out a <span style=\"color: #993366;\"><strong>Great Spotted Woodpecker<\/strong> <\/span>appears a <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Coal Tit\u00a0<\/strong> <\/span>dances in and out of a feeder when the coast is clear all within a couple of minutes. A little later the male <span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>Blackcap<\/strong> <\/span>appears, I attempt to take his photo but he doesn&#8217;t play ball! How lucky we are to live in such a wonderful place.<\/p>\n<p>Tomorrow I am hoping it is clear enough to see <strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Saturn<\/span><\/strong> and <span style=\"color: #33cccc;\"><strong>Jupiter<\/strong><\/span>&#8211; I will take the scope out if it is clear because I am led to believe the moons could be visible. Will report tomorrow.<\/p>\n<p>I apologise for my ramble through illicit card playing yesterday. I don&#8217;t think I conveyed the fun we had and how subtle our cheating signs were till we were rumbled ( we had got away with this for a long time). Our sixth form common room was a separate building from the main school building so we did get away with murder! Occasionally cards were hastily hidden when a teacher approached and a couple of times we got hammered!
