Today&#8217;s title reflects my cycle ride today. It was only just above freezing and the balaclava came out for the ride so with my <strong><em>wonderfully streamlined body<\/em> <\/strong>it looked like I was out on a SAS training ride. It started to rain so I got a soaking and sadly two miles from home my back tyre started to lose air so it was a question of nurse it home because it wasn&#8217;t exactly conducive to stopping for a repair. A new tyre will be fitted tomorrow because this has happened to often!<\/p>\n<p>Yesterday&#8217;s<em><strong> Cultural Quiz<\/strong> <\/em>on the Wind answers<\/p>\n<p>a) <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Kenneth Grahame<\/strong> <\/span>wrote Wind in the Willows\u00a0 b) Raymond Briggs book was called <strong><span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\">Where the Wind Blows\u00a0<\/span> <\/strong>c) Gone with the Wind was written by <span style=\"color: #993366;\"><strong>Margaret Mitchell\u00a0<\/strong> <\/span>d) Shelley&#8217;s poem was <span style=\"color: #cc99ff;\"><strong>Ode to the West Wind\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong> <\/span>e)<span style=\"color: #339966;\"><strong> Donovan<\/strong> <\/span>of course sang Catch the Wind<\/p>\n<p>Fingers crossed for the mighty <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>Hatters<\/strong><\/span> tonight!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Apologies for no title for yesterday&#8217;s blog -think I&#8217;m losing it!
