{"id":4811,"date":"2021-10-18T13:45:41","date_gmt":"2021-10-18T13:45:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thestorytraveller.co.uk\/blog\/?p=4811"},"modified":"2021-10-18T13:45:41","modified_gmt":"2021-10-18T13:45:41","slug":"ghost-stories","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thestorytraveller.co.uk\/blog\/?p=4811","title":{"rendered":"Ghost Stories"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I have to do a <span style=\"color: #99cc00;\"><strong>Halloween Story<\/strong> <\/span>telling next week at <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Kingshill House.<\/strong><\/span> I have got several ghost stories up my sleeve mainly for older children and adults, however, my audience for next week is likely to be fairly young. This presents me with a dilemma because although they want to scared obviously it can&#8217;t be too scary! I am currently sitting trying to write something appropriate for younger children. I do tell a shaggy dog story at <strong>Wick Court<\/strong> which I could adapt and of course the folk tale <span style=\"color: #993366;\"><strong>Baba Yaga<\/strong> <\/span>is a possibility. I will report in next week&#8217;s blog if I manage to come up with something.<\/p>\n<p>Not\u00a0 ghost pictures for the blog but the pictures below are\u00a0 of a T<strong>awny Owl<\/strong> and a <strong>Barn Owl<\/strong>.
