I mentioned yesterday I saw a Great White Egret<\/strong><\/span> here in Frampton<\/strong>. We have had three types of Egret<\/strong> in the area over the last week. Little<\/strong><\/span>, Cattle\u00a0<\/strong><\/span> and Great White.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Little Egrets<\/span> <\/strong>are now common throughout the country although I remember 30 odd years ago there were a rare sight. Cattle Egrets<\/strong><\/span> are gradually appearing over the last five to ten years and Great Whites<\/strong><\/span> are now breeding in the South West.<\/p>\n

A couple of pictures I took yesterday. The Great White<\/span><\/strong> is on the ground and the Little Egret<\/span> <\/strong>is in flight.<\/p>\n
