We got excited a couple of years ago that we might have <strong><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Bitterns<\/span> <\/strong>breeding in our area but it didn&#8217;t happen. maybe this time! I watched a <span style=\"color: #993366;\"><strong>Marsh Harrier<\/strong> <\/span>busy with nesting material yesterday so it is all happening!<\/p>\n<p>Yesterday&#8217;s football was a poor game that ended up a physical battle. Nobody was allowed to play any sort of football. Hope if we make the Play Offs we avoid <strong>Millwall<\/strong>. Still the play offs look likely as the <strong><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">Mighty Hatters<\/span><\/strong> are currently sitting in third place. Maybe this year will be the year we end our Play Off hoodoo!<\/p>\n<p>Long pedal today in the Spring Sunshine and a <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>Stoat<\/strong> <\/span>ran across the road in front of me.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Heard the iconic sound of a Bittern booming from my bedroom this morning!\u00a0 What a privilege it is to hear!
