{"id":6125,"date":"2023-07-16T19:56:05","date_gmt":"2023-07-16T19:56:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thestorytraveller.co.uk\/blog\/?p=6125"},"modified":"2023-07-16T19:56:05","modified_gmt":"2023-07-16T19:56:05","slug":"edward-jenner","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thestorytraveller.co.uk\/blog\/?p=6125","title":{"rendered":"Edward Jenner"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Clare<\/strong> and I pedalled to the <strong>Jenner Museum<\/strong> at <strong>Berkeley<\/strong> today. <span style=\"color: #339966;\"><strong>Jenner<\/strong><\/span> was a remarkable polymath not only was he instrumental in winning the battle against <strong>Smallpox,<\/strong> he wrote poetry and was an impressive naturalist his observations on <strong>Cuckoos<\/strong> was ground breaking!<\/p>\n<p>Pity <strong>England&#8217;s Women Cricketers<\/strong> lost narrowly today in an absorbing game.<\/p>\n<p>As we always do, we follow the <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Tour de France<\/strong><\/span> closely and this year&#8217;s race is a classic.
