{"id":7058,"date":"2024-07-14T14:03:48","date_gmt":"2024-07-14T14:03:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thestorytraveller.co.uk\/blog\/?p=7058"},"modified":"2024-07-14T14:04:18","modified_gmt":"2024-07-14T14:04:18","slug":"col-de-tourmalet-and-the-fugitives","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thestorytraveller.co.uk\/blog\/?p=7058","title":{"rendered":"Col de Tourmalet and The Fugitives"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A nostalgic day for the <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Church Boys\u00a0<\/strong><\/span> as the <strong>Tour de France<\/strong> went up the <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Tourmalet.<\/strong><\/span> We had a wonderful time cycling in the <strong>Pyrenees<\/strong> seven years ago. The highlight for us was to cycle up the <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Tourmalet.<\/span> <\/strong>Watching yesterday as they went up the side we climbed it came flooding back how long it was- it was over 10 miles to the top and I think we climbed over 6,500 feet. I have posted a picture of me getting to the top before in this blog so I think the ones below are pictures that I haven&#8217;t posted before.
