Torrential downpours that have been unrelenting! Once more the<strong> M5<\/strong> near <strong>Bristol<\/strong> has flooded causing traffic chaos in our part of <strong>Gloucestershire<\/strong>. Quite a bit of localised standing water all around <span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>Frampton!<\/strong><\/span> I got a bit of a soaking this morning on my bike when the rain wasn&#8217;t so heavy (almost feel nostalgic for this morning!)\u00a0 I had cycled to see <span style=\"color: #339966;\"><strong>Wild Acres<\/strong><\/span> where I have an outdoor gig later this month. Despite the weather really enjoyed seeing the place (will write more on this gig in future blogs!)<\/p>\n<p>Feeling really tired now &#8211; we had spent a day and a half down in <strong>Exeter<\/strong> playing with our bubbly granddaughter <strong>Ellen<\/strong> now 3 (she told me several times). We took her to <strong>Killerton<\/strong> (NT property) to play and ride her bike!<\/p>\n<p>Tomorrow night is Book Club and we will be discussing <strong>Richard Flanagan&#8217;s<\/strong> <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>The Narrow Road to the Deep North<\/strong> <\/span>&#8211; a contemporary\u00a0 but harrowing book based on <strong>Australian POWs<\/strong> on the <strong>Burma Railway<\/strong>.
