A busy day starting with an early morning bird watch- I was hoping to see an active bittern.<\/strong><\/span> However no such luck but I did see\u00a0 redshank,<\/span> greenshank,<\/span><\/strong> bullfinch<\/strong><\/span> (a real surprise for by the canal), greenfinch<\/span> <\/strong>and chiffchaff.<\/strong> <\/span>Later when in the garden a parakeet<\/strong> <\/span>flew over despite them being all over London and the South East fairly rare in our part of the world. A poor picture of the chiffchaff and also one of the greenfinch.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Had a cricket net this afternoon which was good fun.<\/p>\n

I am keeping my fingers firmly crossed for the football tonight. It is a vital game for the Mighty Hatters<\/strong><\/span> just hope we can get something from the game!<\/p>\n
