{"id":8287,"date":"2026-03-21T19:23:04","date_gmt":"2026-03-21T19:23:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thestorytraveller.co.uk\/blog\/?p=8287"},"modified":"2026-03-21T19:23:04","modified_gmt":"2026-03-21T19:23:04","slug":"one-piece-at-a-time","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thestorytraveller.co.uk\/blog\/?p=8287","title":{"rendered":"One Piece At A Time!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Using a <strong>Johnny Cash<\/strong> song for today&#8217;s title &#8211; it seems appropriate as it has been a busy few days since my last blog.<\/p>\n<p>I have travelled to watch my beloved <span style=\"color: #ff9900;\"><strong>Hatters<\/strong> <\/span>twice &#8211; Tuesday night and today (with mixed success!)<\/p>\n<p>Wednesday saw my regular volunteering slot (birdwatching) at <strong>Wick Court<\/strong> with young people from <strong>Swindon<\/strong>. It was a gorgeous day and they saw plenty of different species including three different ducks on the <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>River.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Thursday saw me do two story telling sessions. One up near <strong>Pershore<\/strong> and one at <strong>Wick Court.<\/strong>&#8211; both very different! I also did our team quiz in the evening &#8211; we lost!<\/p>\n<p>Yesterday <strong>Clare<\/strong> and I cycled to<strong> Nailsworth<\/strong> to see an art exhibition with many pictures from one of my friends- a lovely ride and great pictures!<\/p>\n<p>Phew!!!!!!!!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Using a Johnny Cash song for today&#8217;s title &#8211; it seems appropriate as it has been a busy few days since my last blog.
