It has been an action packed few days! We had a couple of days of looking after our Grandchildren .gave us<\/p>\n
On Wednesday night we went to Bristol Beacon<\/strong> to see Spell Songs<\/strong><\/span>– 7 talented musicians and the artist Jackie Morris.<\/strong> These musicians came together 7 or 8 years ago to put to music “Lost Words”<\/strong> <\/span>the lovely acclaimed book by writer Robert Macfarlane<\/strong> and Jackie Morris.<\/strong> They now have released a third album In Thin Air<\/strong><\/span> inspired by the new book The Book of Birds<\/strong> <\/span>by Macfarlane<\/strong> and Morris.<\/strong> So the evening featured the new album in the first half and old favourites in the second half. It was a fantastic evening the music outstanding.<\/p>\n I have been doing quite a bit of travelling recently and I drove to Hertfordshire<\/strong> to play cricket on Thursday. My last game of the year! We were chuffed to chase down 250 to win.
