Just back from a few days down in Exeter<\/strong> where it was our Granddaughter Ellen’s<\/strong> <\/span>5th birthday. We were chuffed to be asked to her birthday party. She wanted me to tell a story at the party- not an easy gig with 20+ very excited 4\/5 year olds! A couple of pictures below.<\/p>\n

Also had a great time at Topsham<\/strong> watching the tide coming in and with of course many birds. Saw many curlew<\/strong><\/span>, dunlin<\/strong><\/span>, godwits<\/strong><\/span>, plovers<\/strong><\/span> and redshank<\/strong><\/span>. Amazed to see 6 spoonbills<\/span><\/strong> feeding in their characteristic way heads moving busily sideways in unison. A kingfisher<\/strong> <\/span>also flew by. Some pictures after the gig ones!<\/p>\n
