Take the Long Way Home

I was searching for a song title that would encapsulate a variety of sports because that sums up my coming week. I nearly put “Sporting paradise” as my title. I am at the Test Match on Wednesday and getting excited and keeping my fingers crossed for good weather. I was also supposed to be playing cricket in Wales tomorrow but that has already fallen foul of the weather. I  could be playing in Devon on Thursday and on Saturday I am watching the mighty Hatters at Plymouth. I may need a rest somewhere!

I have managed to do some writing over the last few days, updating my Harriet the Hippo story and finishing off my Mollie the Sheep story which I may tell on our London Tour in September. Finally to honour my sporting week and having started to master inserts for this blog the photo below is from my cricket club’s 150th celebration when we attempted to dress in Victorian cricketing attire. The really whiskered one is the author! Watch our for action shots from Gigs in the future! 1-IMG_1008
