I don’t like cricket oh no………..

Our week in the North East was delightful. Weather was fine apart from last Monday when it rained all day. The Northumberland coast is wonderful a mix of golden beaches, rocky cliffs entwined with history. We both love this part of the world and will revisit again soon. We moved South to Durham (well Chester-le-Street) for the Test Match. We camped about 7 miles away so I cycled to the cricket and Clare went in to Durham. First time I have cycled to a Test Match! What a wonderful friendly venue. The cricket was absorbing you can’t beat a tight Ashes contest for top sport! Good to see an international sporting venue having bike racks inside the ground, not sure if Lords, Wembley or Twickenham have that facility!

Back to Frampton and reality. I have two gigs this week for the Children’s Centre with Teddy Bear theme so I will do the story I wrote a fortnight ago.

Oh I am keeping quiet about the disappointing first league match I am my number one sporting venue Kenilworth Road on Tuesday.
