The Boys of Summer

Cycled to Parliament up the great big hill to my HVV Gig. The Gig had been moved to inside because of the weather so numbers were low. I stuck with the Teddy Bear theme and told my Story “Deep” and I am pleased with how it is developing. Needs a bit of tweaking to be the finished product.

Popped down to Stoke Gifford today to see Kathryn (one of my teaching colleagues from Dursley), Matt and their three-week old son Oliver. Lovely to see a young family at this stage. Tomorrow I am meeting up with my old mate Phil for a beer. Phil and I have known each other from our days as young idealistic teachers who both ran our respective area primary school’s football teams. Phil is a big Forest Green fan so we will discuss the big match next week (much bigger than any of the Premiership games!)
