The Boys Dun Great!!!!!

I refer to my marvellous old man’s cricket team that i captain who won through to the Vase Final yesterday against Middlesex. It was a good all round team performance especially when one of my main bowlers got injured and I had to smuggle through some overs. Body is feeling it today! We now play Hertfordshire on a neutral ground a fortnight yesterday.

We have just driven up to London calling on the bird reserve at Barnes WWT. Good views of Green Sandpipers. Visiting galleries tomorrow and a show in the evening! Friday I will be cheering on the Mighty Hatters at Chelsea.

  1. Well played, Mr Church. An important 30 runs, without a boundary, in a big partnership with highest scorer then triumphing in the field! Wish I could do that!! A positive result at moneybags Chelsea for Mighty Hatters would be good end to the week. Reckon your opponents are most disliked club in England. Why not spread the wealth to help Southend United survive on 4th October!!! We need professional clubs in Essex…and Colchester are in dire straits on field again.
