Wembley, Wembley…………

In the most turgid of seasons for the Mighty Hatters we now have a distraction of a trip to Wembley in April. So I will be there cheering them on. Just about given up on the league season-I can’t go tomorrow because we are looking after our grandsons for the weekend- it will be more fun than the football!

I did my usual visits to Wick Court on Wednesday and Thursday-birdwatching and story telling- this time it was with young people from Camberwell.

Off a bit later for our Two Severn Bores performance of legends of Merlin. Hopefully might have some pictures to show.

Two Severn Bores In Action Again

Dan and I (The Two Severn Bores) have been rehearsing tonight we are performing again on Friday. We are actively searching for venues for new gigs- anyone reading this and can help please get in touch.

Now my “injury from India has cleared up I have now started playing padel again with my friends from the Gloucestershire Seniors Cricket – it is a good game to play.

Spring What Has Happened?

I inadvertently deleted my last post about Spring! Sorry! I had gone on about frogs, birds although I missed out flowers and trees. I’ve included the frog pictures from my pond again. On the bird front I went to look for the alignment of the planets on Saturday night- unsuccessful but I was treated to competing Tawny Owls hooting and best of all a Bittern booming (seems early to me!)

Last night we drove to the theatre in Malvern to hear Professor Alice Roberts talk about her book called Dominion. She was superb – an articulate speaker (just like she is on TV but humble with a lovely touch of dry humour. The theatre was packed.
